So, I got a new tablet a little while ago (a Cintiq alternative by Artisul), but just now got a chance to play with it. I figured I wanted to go back to my D&D dragon hatchling charm concept, only go with the chromatics first as they have a bigger range of colors.

I love this new tablet. I know a lot with art is dependant on skills rather that tools, but having the right tools is a very, very big help.

I feel like I have stepped up in my artwork. NOT ONLY THAT, but soon I will actually have time to sit down and do more art. Coming up on the 11th, I start a new job that is Monday-Friday, so start expecting more artwork on the weekends!

I experimented with the shading with greyscale and then adding a color mask technique thing again. I am still kind of iffy with the technique, but I feel this time around it went far more smoothly. There is going to be a lot of pracktice for me to get down how I do artwork now with the new tablet.

I will be doing the next few dragons in the coming couple of weeks, and I will be getting some sample charms done! I plan on this being my first kickstarter, so definitely keep an eye out for that!
